Abbe at the Marina, Part I – Ballard Portrait and Lifestyle Photographer

When I started putting together this lifestlye portrait session blog post, I quickly realized that I needed to do a Part I and a Part II because there is just so much goodness to share. I posted Abbe’s teaser earlier this summer and it’s been painful to sit on these photographs for so long because I have been dying to share them, so you can only imagine how excited I am to finally get them up. It’s been a crazy summer thus far, full of shoots and new experiences; hence the tardiness of this post, but I couldn’t be any more thankful for the people I have met along the way, including Abbe and Ricky and their adorable ‘children.’ And let me just say this…this was not a ‘styled’ shoot. Abbe has a style of her own and it’s nautical inspired 365 days of the year. She is a true classic beauty and we didn’t even plan for Ricky to be in the photos, but he showed up to help wrangle the kids and he just happened to be wearing these shorts with embroidered swordfish on them – seriously. Ricky’s got style, too. I just love these two together.

And I can’t wait to share Part II of Abbe’s portrait session…on the way soon!
